Bitrue was hacked

In June 27th, 2019, a hacker exploited a vulnerability of Bitrue exchange and took away $4.2 million worth of crypto. However, Bitrue has announced that the lost fund will be covered in full.

tZero launches a crypto wallet and exchange app.

According to Reuters, tZERO, a subsidiary of Overstock.com has launched a digital wallet and exchange app for crypto. At the moment, the apps are only available to iOS users.

Kakao released enterprise blockchain

On Thursday, Kakao’s subsidiary Ground X released a public network platform, Klaytn for developers and firms. Initially, LG, Celltrion and Netmarble will run Klaytn. Plus, other tech and finance giants such Philippine’s Union Bank are also said to have joined the project.

Binance is talking with FB over Libra.

According to Finance Magnates, Binance’s exchange strategy officer, Gin Chao said that the exchange is currently discussing with Facebook over Libra. Gin Chao said that the discussion with Facebook are in early stage and they could list Libra if Facebook needs a secondary market. However, further details about the discussion hasn’t been disclosed.
